I wish they just cut all the fluff out of these and made them as functional as possible, I want a back-lit keyboard but does it reaaallly have to be rgb? no! nor do I need fancy trims and fancy buttons and fancy software to go along with it all.
for a normal consumer there's not many choices really, from the low end you have the cheap net books that sucked, suck and still suck despite the fact we've managed to go the moon again or something something human progress... then theres.... well nothing really, a "mid-range" laptop is more for text editors and light use like youtube or whatever you do on the internet nowadays and then theres the high end, really sleek fancy slim envelopes that cost more than an actual envelopes weight in gold (or silver that's about tied with gold now..)
"gaming" laptops I think are the actual mid range of laptops, while yes they can be crazy expensive the ones around 1k are what you'd actually want for tasks you'd expect a laptop to be able to do like video rendering orwhatevermajigs.
anyways so uhh.. laptop right I brought one and it's due to arrive on the 16th!! it's used.. I'm not made of money!!! acer nitro 16 (16") specs are uhmm... ryzen 7 7840HS (has decent igraphics) rtx 4070 mobile (8gb vram) uhhhh wxquguajdicoa display (that's how you know it's premium because it forms a nonsense of letters) and uh like.. 90wh battery which is good, thermals are really good too the underside is basically a giant grill for exhaust and intake
tldr i got laptop and it's cool but oh my god please make the days go quicker!!!!!!
